Stephanie is originally from North Augusta and has spent most of her life in the CSRA. Stephanie received her undergraduate degree in Health Science from Clemson University in 2013 and her Master of Physician Assistant degree from Augusta University in 2016.
Stephanie started her career in Emergency Medicine at Doctors Hospital in 2016. She eventually transitioned to the Burn and Wound Intensive Care Unit in 2019 as part of the J.M.S. Burn Center at Doctors, the largest burn, and wound ICU in the United States. In 2022, she moved to Burn Surgery where she gained extensive experience in extreme skin conditions.
In her free time, Stephanie enjoys international travel, organizing, and playing with her dogs. She is married to Micah Rumsey, and they have a daughter.
